The Institute is seeking to appoint a high quality, energetic researcher with expertise in soil science or related area that complements our existing strengths in soil biology, an international reputation for excellence in research and evidence of successful leadership in a research-focused environment. Extensive experience and success in obtaining substantial research funding from a range of sources including industry is essential.
The appointee is expected to provide leadership in scholarship through innovative and distinguished research, and in policy development and the development of staff. The successful applicant will draw upon leadership experience in building research teams to obtain substantial funding to support a robust research program.
This is a full time, ongoing position based at our Hawkesbury campus.
The University reserves the right to appoint at Academic Level D or Academic Level E depending upon the skills, qualifications and experince of the successful applicant.
Academic Level D $147,976 to $162,527 p.a. (comprising Salary $125,382 to $137,819 p.a., 17% Superannuation, and Leave Loading);
Academic Level E $189,215 p.a. (comprising Salary $160,629 p.a., 17% Superannuation, and Leave Loading).
